Born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis MN, Dytrich Nguyen started playing guitar at the age of 12 after seeing viral YouTube videos of guitar covers.

He studied music and graduated from Perpich Arts High School and went on to briefly study guitar at McNally Smith College of Music. Following the school’s closure, he began studying piano at age 21. After an intense year of dedication and focus, he moved out to Seattle to pursue a career in music and currently studies at Cornish College of the Arts.

Though intensely focused on classical piano, Dytrich has performed as guitarist and bassist for Julian Finch and has worked extensively with many guitar styles including: pop, blues, rock, and metal.
